I am extremely pleased to announce that Mr. Madan and Mrs. Dharma Rajbhandari of North Carolina have made a contribution of US $ 5,000 (Five thousand) to NAC Foundation - Legacy Funds. They made this announcement during the ANMA/NASeA joint convention in Atlanta on September 2, 2007.

Mr. Madan Rajbhandari is a Pharmacist and Mrs. Dharma Rajbhandari is a medical doctor. They lived in Chicago for many years and now they have retired and moved to North Carolina.

On behalf of the NAC Board, I wish to profusely thank the Rajbhandaris for the generous contribution they have made to NAC Foundation. As per the by-laws the money will remain there in perpetuity and only part of the interest will be spent on community support as approved by the NAC Board.

Dr. Prahlad and Mrs Bindu Pant had contributed $5,000 several months ago. Thanks to the generosity of these two families, the foundation now has a total endowment of $10,000.

If you know of anyone who is interested in making a tax-deductible charitable contribution to NAC Foundation, please let any Board member of NAC know. The principal will remain intact in perpetuity, and the interest will be spent to help the Nepalis community members in need.
